Graziosi Progetti built a stylish office on Amsterdam’s Gelderlandplein for Ramón Mossel Makelaardij.

Gelderlandplein in Buitenveldert is a shopping center with both retail and service providers, the office of Ramón Mossel Makelaardij is located on the outside of the shopping center. Nicole Hoorweg, office manager at Ramón Mossel Makelaardij: “We wanted to take the appearance of our new office to a higher level with a suitable, professional design. I was referred to Graziosi Progetti via the Kroonenberg Group. I had a very nice first meeting at Nina’s office, in which I explained our wishes. We are a team that eats lunch together and works together, but we do need privacy for things like consultation and telephone calls. At Graziosi Progetti they listened carefully to what we wanted and translated this into a beautiful 3D presentation.”

Graziosi Progetti started by looking at the striking dimensions of the office. Nina Graziosi: “It is a special building, with a double-height facade of seven meters high. The space is narrow and quite wide, with three different ceiling heights, quite a challenge! At the entrance the ceiling is very high, after about one meter it becomes slightly lower, and at the back of the office the height is about three meters. We made optimal use of the high space on the street side as a showcase for the office, with the name prominently behind the glass. Because you want to be more shielded from the outside in the private part of the office, we have bordered this part with vertical black slats. LED images of the projects can be seen on these slats from the street.”

Graziosi Progetti collaborated with Nicole Hoorweg and drew up the interior design. Hoorweg: “We were completely on the same page in the color and material recommendations. We now have a 300 m2 office with three beautiful rooms. A ‘living room’ where we can receive people, and two rooms that we can also transform into project spaces. Depending on the type of appointment, we choose the appropriate space. Many people first want an open-ended conversation, which we receive in the living room.” This living room has a luxurious, comfortable appearance. The other rooms each had their own atmosphere, but still form a whole thanks to colors and use of materials. In the rear part of the office are the facilities such as the living-kitchen, the sanitary areas and the storage room.

To create more depth in the high part of the room, acoustic ceiling islands have been hung here, equipped with recessed spotlights. The lower part of the office has a fixed plaster ceiling. Subdued light tone-on-tone shades for the floor and walls give the interior a pleasant appearance. Wallpaper or wood is used as wall coverings in the rooms. Graziosi: “One of the rooms is sleek and modern, with lots of glass and a large lightbox with photos of projects. The other has dark stained furniture and seating in soft shades of velvet, which evoke the atmosphere of a chic apartment.” This luxurious effect is further enhanced by the sanitary areas, which are finished with large slabs of marble. The total provides a particularly stylish result, which was also achieved in a short time. Hoorweg: “We received the key in January last year, and we opened in the first week of May. We are very proud of the result and receive many compliments about it. The appearance clearly reflects our level of service.”
